Quasar Holland is a family lighting business from Giessen, the Netherlands. The term ‘Quasar’ means (simply defined) rising star. Quasar has become a significant player within the international large scale lighting market. The company’s collection continues to burn brighter and brighter, as its collection keeps strengthening and growing. Quasar offers a unique and modern collection, instantly recognizable as a Quasar product.
Quasar offers its large scale, commercial lighting products in many finishes, allowing each design to fit into various ambiance, such as modern, timeless and classic. A huge advantage is that all models can be customized, so Quasar offers large scale lighting products that can be adapted to our customer’s wishes with regard to colour, size or finish. Unique collection of large scale lighting
In 1992, Teun van Gammeren founded Quasar and first launched his company internationally at Euroluce in Milan, Italy. Throughout the years as the company grew, Teun got assistance from many more qualified people. His sons John and Arjens now being at the helm ensure that Quasar’s founding principles are built upon and respected. Through a stable growing collection, Quasar now belongs to the creative avant-garde in the decorative, international large scale lighting market. Quasar is now bespoke lighting specialist, which gives clients the opportunity to tailor each design to their own specific project requirements, regardless whether they desire a different colour, size or finish for their large scale lighting. All of this has helped the company become an important world player within the international high-end lighting market. At present, its export accounts for 85% of turnover. Quasar, being strong in logistics, knows how to export worldwide, and of course also for large scale projects.
